Hi Hawks ! Skip Desrochers here, boy has it been a long
time since we came from our respective schools to create a new and proud school
in the
In November of my senior year (1976) I enlisted in
the Navy and was off to boot camp in August 77. I graduated from The United
States School of Photography and was off to
I managed a local camera store for a couple of
years, and then got hired on with a hi-tech Silicon Valley company where we
wore clean suits and passed through air showers to get to our processing
machines. They laid me off in November of 87 and at the time we were expecting
our first child. God always seems to open a door when he closes a window, and I
am happy to say that on Dec 15th I will be celebrating 19 years with Fedex.
It can be tough being a Dolphin fan out here in 9er
and Raider country, but to steal the motto from the U.S.M.C. us fins fans are Sempre Fi.
I currently live in
Sean graduated 4th in his class of 68 from Saint
Lawrence Academy (glad he got mom’s smarts), and Frank has been elected a class
representative at Arch Bishop Mitty and is really
enjoying his freshman year.
Well I hope to see you all at the reunion and wish
to thank all those folks who are volunteering and leading the way so that we
can all get together and reminisce.
Speaking of which, do any of you remember the time Mr Malloy was telling us during one of our 1st period fire
drills, while we were standing out in front of the main office, and looking at
a pile of garbage that the janitor had just swept up and left there, that this
was in fact the remains of an alien space ship that had touched down on our
planet and had disintegrated because it had no defense against our mother planets
bacteria ??? wow..
